2019 is here and with it comes the kickoff to a new high season packed with exciting and high-profile events.

  • ACE Comic Con - January 11th - 13th - Superhero fans unite! Actors and creators from some of the top superhero movies will be attending ACE Comic Con at the Gila River Casino.
  • Arizona Fine Art Expo - January 11th - March 24th - This is the 15th year for the Fine Art Expo and this year there will be 124 juried artists in place creating and selling their work. In addition, glass blowing classes will be offered for a fee. It all takes place in North Scottsdale on the corner of Scottsdale Road and Jomax.
  • Barrett Jackson Car Auction - January 12th - 20th - Barrett Jackson, also known as the "World's Greatest Collector Car Auction" is back for its 48th year. This spectacular event will take place at WestWorld.  See some of the world's rarest and most exclusive cars and get caught up in the auction excitement.
  • Celebration of Fine Art - January 12th - March 24th - This high-profile art event in Scottsdale is in its 29th year. 100  established and upcoming artists will be present to show their work as well as create new pieces.
  • Russo and Steele Car Auction January 16th - 20th - Russo and Steele is back at Salt River Fields for their five-day collector car auction. Over 800 cars that will be up for bids.
  • Disney on Ice - Dare to Dream - January 17th - 20th - Five Disney heroines including Cinderella, Moana and Belle unite to show you how to find your inner hero.
  • Carefree Art & Wine Festival - January 18th - 20th -  It has been 26 years for this beloved art and wine festival. Stroll through Downtown Carefree and enjoy the work of over 155 juried artists while sampling wines.
  • Cirque Swan LakeJanuary 18th - 20th - The Phoenix Symphony will be playing the Swan Lake score while Troupe Vertigo interprets and performs the story via acrobatics, aerial performances and more.
  • Professional Bull Riders Ak-Chin Invitational - January 19th - 20th - Experience the excitement of live bull riding at the Ak-Chin invitational.
  • Rock-n-Roll Arizona Marathon and 1/2 Marathon - January 19th - 20th - It is back! This super fun race comes with live entertainment all along the course - live music, cheer squads and much more. Not into long distances? They also offer a one-mile race, a 5K or 10K as well as a kids' race.
  • Arizona Balloon Classic January 25th - 27th - Head on over to Goodyear to take in this breathtaking event. Over 30 balloons will take flight in the early morning and at dusk. Explore the different balloons, enjoy the Street Food Fest, pre-book your own balloon flight and more!
  • Taste About Scottsdale - January 26th - Come enjoy food and beverage from over 45 local restaurants as you stroll the streets of Kierland Commons. Proceeds benefit Homes 4 Wounded Warriors.
  • Waste Management Phoenix Open - January 28th - February 3rd - This may be my favorite event of the year. Enjoy multiple days of excellent golf with some of the sport's most famous players. Some of the players committed to the amazing 2019 field include Phil Mickelson, Rickie Fowler, Bubba Watson and more.
  • Waste Management Phoenix Open's Birds Nest - January 30th - February 2nd - The Birds Nest is the place to be for post-golf fun. Each night is a new concert. Some performers include Old Dominion, Snoop Dogg, The Chainsmokers and more. Be sure to get your tickets in advance as most of these concerts sell out.
